Will Maddock keep its clinic?

Friday, January 18th, 2008

I am planning to attend the open forum on the status of the Maddock clinic this Sunday evening at 7 at the Community Center. I will be very interested to see if the community turns out in mass to show their support and enable those who cannot travel elsewhere to get treatment locally.

Maddock Community Library

Friday, January 18th, 2008

We have lots of resources available to the community to improve literacy for all ages and abilities. Storytime is Thursdays at the Head Start and there is a lively group of preschoolers to engage in listening and participating. If you come to the library you will find a wide array of new and used books for sale too. $1 for a whole bag can fill a lot of winter evenings with reading.

After School Activities Program is Starting! :)

Friday, January 18th, 2008

The After School Activities Program (ASAP) is starting on Tuesday, January 22nd at the Maddock Public School. One of ASAP’s main goals is to have a place for kids to go after school when both of their parentsĀ are working. There will be daily actvities, study time, and a snack. If you would like to be a volunteer contact Addie Mathison @ 438-2453.
